    Remove characters

    Dear experts,

    I had an excel sheet where some of the datas has characters before the value, how do i remove all of them?
    Example:

    one of the columns have "parameter=30". What should i do to remove everything except the value "30"?

    Hi,

    Try

    Data > Text to Columns > Delimiter is =

    This will split your info info two columns. Delete the first column to leave just the numbers

    or with a helper column. Say Data in Col A enter this In Col B and drag down

    =RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND("=",A1))

    Paste special values
