Two copy and pastes in a macro

I have a workbook with two worksheets. I want to write a macro that copies a range, moves over to the left and copies the value in that cell, moves to the other worksheet, opens the find dialog box and inserts the text from the cell as the find parameter, finds taht in the worksheet, moves over 5 columns, then pastes in teh range that was the first copy.

Now that excel can do multiple pastes, I figured there was some way to record this.

If it can't be recorded, can someone at least get me started on how to edit the vba code written by the computer if, say, I record just some of it (e.g. one copy and paste operatoin instead of both)?

    Thank you,

    Gary
