    Use solver add-in via VBA

    Hi,

I'm trying to use the solver add-in to determine an optimal value (maximum) given several constraints. I've recorded a macro, but every time I try to use it, I get the error message, 'Sub or Function not defined.'

I would be very greatful if anyone can point me in the right direction!

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Use solver with VBA

    Hi,

I'm trying to automate a process that requires the use of the solver add-in to determine an optimal value (max) given several constraints. Unfortunately, while I can record the macro and see the solver referenced in the code, when I try to run it, I get the error message, 'Sub or Function not defined.'

I would be very greatful if anyone could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks!
    Sean
