Problem with VBA when Debugging

I have been given a new computer at work and I am still attempting to get everything set back up the way it was on the old computer and I have run into a problem. In the past when I paused a program and went into the VBA screen, I could pass my cursor over a variable and it would give me the value. It is no longer doing that. Is there a switch I need to flip to get this to work properly on my new machine. I have gone from Excel 2002 to Excel 2003, if that makes any difference.
