    Can't record Macro

    Hi,

    I have Excel 2003.
I am trying to record new macro in "Personal Macro Workbook", a message shows "A personal macro workbook in the start up folder must stay open for recording". After click this message, anew message appear "Unable to record macro".
I tried by reinstalling excel. But no result.
    Where is the problem.
Upto last week I can record macro in Personal workbook.

    Regards

    Try,

    Click on "Help"
    Click on "About Microsoft Excel"
    Click the "Disabled Items..." Button
Select the item in the list that says "Personal.XLS" and click "Enable"
If there is no "Personal.xls" file in the list, you will need to seek additional help or look in your backups
