Hi

How can I write a macro to change the name of a sheet?

This selects Sheet1 and changes it to X2112

But How can I access it if I don't know the same of the tab.
Life for example if the name was Sheet2, it won't work.
Is there away to reference this?

Hi,

If you know the sequence number of the sheet, you can refer to it as the number whatever the name.

The sheet number will remain the same no matter what the name changes to.

I actually don't know it

The sheet could be named ANC or ABC or 435FD

Is there a way to reference it like you would reference cell A1 or Cells(1,1)

Count the tabs from the left to find the sequence number,

e.g 3 tabs, "ANC", "ABC", "435FD" = 1,2,3 left to right
