    workbook events

I have a public file for many users. I want to create a workbook events to record the user’ activities sheet named Log. If any user opens this workbook, in Log sheet from row two, column A records the username, column B records the beginning time, column C record the exit time, column D shows whether the user makes any changes and saves the changes.
The workbook events will continue to record different uses activity row by row, until row 65536.
Any solutions will be highly appreciated.

    workbook events

    Hi Dennis

Please see attached spreadsheet. Take note of the workbook on open and before close events.

This will record the user as having made a change if they change anything in Sheet1(See the code under Sheet1)

    This should get you started!

Have a fiddle around and let me know if you have any questions
