I have a column of roughly 10,000 cells and to give you some background of what I need to sort it goes as follows. The list is of addresses which are intermixed and unorganized and I need to sort the apartments and the homes into two seperate groups. The apartment cells end in a number, say for example "2323 N Main St Apt 403" and the home cells end in a letter, say "2324 N Grand Ave". The cells consist only addresses that follow this suit. I am no expert in Excel, but I am guessing that the easiest way to sort the column would be to seperate the cells that end in a letter and the cells that end in a number. I am, however, completely befuddled as to how to sort this column by this method. Any thoughts?
