how can I expand a column size without expanding a combobox that is placed over it?

Hi,

I have a combo box at the top of one of my worksheets.
some of the data that my macro pastes into the sheet below, requires column F to be 'auto-fitted'.
when I do this it also stretches out the combobox that is positioned over column F and E.

is there a way I can stop this happening?

Right-click the ComboBox, select "Format Control...", go to the "Properties" tab and select either "Move but don't size with cells" or "Don't move or size with cells"
