Complex Chart:Need to have COLORS of BARS stay with designated data when I SORT

so yeah I'm a "global corporate finance intern" for a major company and I have been assigned what I believe is an impossible task. I think this is a test so PLEASE help me pass.

It seems pretty simple but I find that the charting options are quite limited.

I need to be able to sort a bar chart and keep the custom coloring with the data as I resort it when the data gets updated. I have already make a button for my sort macro but the colors don't move with the designated data they stay in the same spot... is there any code to make them move with the corresponding data?????

You could have a macro which recolours the graph replacing the default colours once the data behind the chart is sorted.

Have a go at recording a macro to see the syntax necessary to change the colour of a data point and then incorporate this as appropriate.

You may need to post a copy of the actual workbook if you need more assistance.
