    Customised Help file eg xx.chm

I have created a customised help file for context sensitive help in my Excel application. Is there any means of specifying at run time where the help file is located. Currently I have to specify the full path in the project properties and I have no way of knowing this until the application is run.

    Good evening psionpete

    ...and welcome to the forum!!

I use a routine like this to initiate the help file. It assumes that the help file lives in the same directory as your app.

    Many thanks DominicB,

I am currently using something similar using the help method of the Application object. I was hoping to use the F1 key to instigate the help but this requires the help filename and full path to be provided in the project properties.

My application uses quite a few vba forms and I was hoping not to have to use additional buttons on these but it looks like I may have to do this after all.

    Thanks again for your input.

    Peter
