elklavyatts you need to give more information!, do you want a password on the project or do you want to add a password to a cell or sheet or to the workbook?
Not all forums are the same - seek and you shall find

In my form i have number of options and some options are restricted for a particular level of officer. So i have entered a form which will ask for password and if the password matches with the string that I have saved in the macro it will let the user to access the option. I have done everything but one thing is worrying me that if someone can access the macro then he/she would be able to access the password. So I was asking that is there any way to create an encrypted sort of password. If there is any way i can do it it will be of great help.
Good morning eklavyavats
You can protect the workings of a macro. To do this go to the VBE (Alt + F11) and go to Tools > VBAProject Properties, Protection. Tick the box and put in the password.
If you've already done this, then there's not much else more that can be done. If someone could break this then they could see the passwords you've used. That said, if they're good enough at Excel to do this, then they could get around any other safeguards you've installed to stop people doing things they shouldn't.
Excel is not a secure environment. It will stop casual users doing things they shouldn't, but certainly not a determined, ecperienced user.
