Issue With Dates

This is sort of a follow-up to a post I made yesterday. The code is available here http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?t=605126 but basically when my script goes through the loop, it does not recognize or at least does not appear to recognize the dates in the spreadsheet it's looping through. The dates are given in a format like this: 6/20/2006

My question is how do I get excel to recognize this as a date instead of as a string as it loops through the spreadsheet because I assumed it would recognize it as a date but that doesn't appear to happen.

Nevermind, I found the error. It was in the count to step through the columns. It was in the wrong loop.
