    emailing a worksheet

    Hi All

This is a real tricky one!!

I've done a purchase order that includes a drop down list for method of delivery (post, fax, etc) but I've got to include an option for email.

Although its the easiest thing in the world to add "email" to the list I have no idea how I would code it to automatically bring up a new email and attach the completed purchase order.

    Does anyone have any ideas??

    Thanks in advance??

Many thanks for your help, it does seem to be a bit complicated (for me anyway) but roughly does what I want. I'll have a peruse but maybe there is a simpler way?????

My purchase order has a submit button which, when clicked, gives the order a new number and creates it as a new worksheet with the order number as the worksheet name.

It would be at this point that it would need to attach the worksheet to an email but only if the user had selected "email" in the drop down box cell.

Simpler to say than to do but if anyone has any further code that might help I'll continue to peruse the above link.

    Thanks again

you can try to use the command "ActiveWorkBook.sendmail" in your code...
search for it in the VBA help and you might find what you want...
