Adding a row to a defined list (combo box)

    Hi

Basically i've got certain cells (range) e.g. B2:D4 that i've named. I have a combo box that lists all the names... "Topic A - Topic Z". What i'm trying to do is add a row when i choose one of the topics, so if i choose Topic A, it adds a row to topic A.

How would i go about doing this?

Here's my code... if you can make sense of it.

    Hello Tian0020,

I think reason you haven't had any replies is no one is quite sure what you want to do. Can you present a more detailed and annotated example of what is supposed to happen?

    Thanks,
    Leith Ross

Thanks for getting back to me mate.

    Well... basically...
The Add items on the top are in a combo box. They represent the different topics that i have in rows... i.e. Topic A is in Row 4 with the topics underneath Topic B is in row 8 with the topics underneath... etc...
What the form is supposed to do is when you select the topic and press add on the form... it adds a row to the topic. Which at the moment works... however... When it goes to put the text into column B of the newly inserted row, an error appears, which is highlighted in red.

Is that what you need? Or should i load a copy of my spreadsheet mate?

    Thanks

    Hello Tian0020,

If you could post the workbook that would be best, if not then the worksheet will have to do.

    Thanks,
    Leith Ross
