    covert integer to column reference

    Hi,

i use this code to find the column number:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Then i need to put this integer in a formula as follows:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
But it inserts as an interger not a letter i.e. 2 = Column 'B' and returns a object defined error.

how can i get around this?

    Thanks,

    Hello Jonn,

On the main menu, go to Tools > Options... > General (tab). Check the box marked R1C1 under Settings. R1C1 style doesn't allow the use of column letters, only numbers. If it is set click the box to clear it.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
