Message Box tied to System Date

I've created a workbook that needs to be updated on a quarterly basis, otherwise the information will be outdated.

Can I have a message box pop up on opening the workbook, that advises the user that the information is out of date, if the system date is later than October 1, 2007? If so, how could I do that?

    Thanks for the assistance.

I just need to insert that into a module, correct?

When I click "run", I get the error message. I don't when I open the workbook.

Couple things to suggest. I would move the code into the "ThisWorkBook" module, instead of creating a new one. This might solve it. Also, make sure the "Option Explicit" is in the declarations portion of the module (at the very top).

No it must be in the Workbook_Open event of the Workbook Object - see
