    lock a cell in excel if a specific previous cell has not been filled in

    Is it possible to lock a cell in excel if a specific previous cell has not been filled in??? If so can anyone tell me how to do it?

    You are going to need VBA, can you expand a little on what you want?

    I need a conditional lock or something similar to it. Its an order form im making. And i dont want users to be able to move to the next cell if they havent filled in the previous one.

    Example: If they havent filled in their name on field G4
    then they will not be able to fill in the address on G5
