Delete cell from a drop down list

Here is what I wish to accomplish... I have tried many times yet unsuccesful.

For example:

I have a Data > Validated cell as a list in cell A1 for a range of cells A2 - A100

I want to be able to select the name from the drop down menu in cell A1 and have a macro assigned to a button that after you pick the name in cell A1, you press the button, and the name is removed from the range A2 - A100.

ANYTHING ... ANYWAY ... please let me know your opinions.

Attached is a sample of some code that you should be able to adapt for your needs. Formulas in column c are all array so any changes must be entered using ctrl+shift+enter. Enter any of the values from the list in the box in column e and you will see the list reduces in size for each one entered.
