    key-based search

    Hi all,
I've got a question that I'm a bit stumpted on and was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

I've got two sets of data
Set 1 contains fields labeled: product_id, price, membership_code
    Set 2 contains fields labeled: product_id, product_code

What I want to end up with is a set of data that looks like product_code, price, membership_code.

The problem is that in the first set there are multiple entries for the same product_id, so I was hoping there was a way to somehow: check the product id in the first set, find it in the product_id field in the second set, and paste the corresponding product_code from the second set into a new field in the first set. Anybody know of a way to do this?

    Your help is greatly appreciated!!

    Brian
