unsort after sort

can we unsort the record after sorting it and editting(deleteing) some of the records not undo

You could add a column and put a line number on each record and then use this column to sort on so that you are now back to the original sequence

Nope. Best you've got is an undo function. Or not sort it in the first instance
Sorry to say it but the only solution is to resort to the backup copy.
