    Compare two columns

    Hi

I have two rather large columns

    Column 1 = Deadline date
Column 2 = Actual finish date

I want to run an automatic compare of the two marking all rows in red where "Actual finish date" is after the "Deadline date."

    How do I do this?

Conditional Formatting should do the trick.

In first cell of column 2, let's assume B1.

Format -> Conditional Formatting. Change "Cell Value Is" to "Formula Is" and enter:

    Then set your format.

Lastly copy and Paste Special -> Format for the remainder of the column.
