    sub cell drop down

Let me see if I can explain this. I use excel to help me breakdown large container shipments and cost per carton. However I have maybe 50 or so cartons per container that need further breakdown out of 500+. The sheet I currently have calculates out my total cost now, and what I would like to be able to do is have a "+" or something that I could click on that would allow me to enter the amounts of the individual items in that particular carton so I could calculate out the individual costs based on their percentage of total cost.

    Is this possible?

Here is a sample of what I'm doing. The full sheet would be very confusing, so i created a much more simple version.

The top section is how it's being done now. Most items on my container will be one item per carton, so it's simple that the Total Carton Value is the cost of the item. However, in the example, you can see that there are two items in cartons 2 & 3 and based on the value, I just want to divide the cost of freight for those cartons across the two items based on their percentage of value. Ideally, it will be easier to have some form of expanding a section so I could put in greater detail when necessary to make those calculations.

I hope this helps. If you're wondering why I'm doing it this way when there is software out there to do it, it's because we live in the Bahamas and our duties and taxes are far to complicated to use any predesigned software, so thus I've spent hours developing a very complicated spreadsheet to facilitate this.

    Thanks for the help.
