    Automating a macro

Greetings - with much help from my friends on here, I've finally gotten to the point where the macro I've (we've) been developing works. Hoo-rah! Now I'm to the point where I need to automate it. At this point my only option is to Alt-F11, insert a module, and paste it in.

My guess is that the admin staff is going to find this too cumbersome. Is there a slick way to have the macro available on the desktop? I'm not even sure how to word my question here. I've been researching events, but even then I think I have to have Excel open with the macro inserted. Any tips you can offer to get me pointed in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
