Rules for using " " and & and other symbols in VBA?

    Hi
Does anybody know if there is a book out there which explains why we use some of the symbols such as exclamantion marks for example in vba. It's hard to follow a logic and to realy understand why VBA code is written why it is. I understand rules with arguments though is there some way to understand the logic behind VBA programming so I can apply this logic when writing code. Some code looks pretty complicated at times so I assume there is a logic followed when it is written.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Please don't take this the wrong way, but "Excel VBA Programming For Dummies" is a really good place to start. It does however assume a fair amount of excel knowledge already.

    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1
