    Hello John,

Yes you can. Where are the addresses located? Are they hyperlinks or test?

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

Names in a dropdown list - I would like it so that when a person selects the name not only doew it select the person assigned to work the file but sends an email to the selected person..... This list is set far, far to the right out of view and the dropdowns function in Column L

    Hello John,

Are the email addresses in an address book or listed in another column on the worksheet?

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

The email addresses can be alongside the names featured previously if needed - will this help?

    Hello John,

That makes it easy to associate the name to the proper email address. I'll post back in while with the code.

    Thanks,

    Hello John,

We had a little excitement out here in California just a little while ago in the form of an temblor (small quake). So, everyone has been calling etc. So now I hope to get back on track with you.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

This reference and source you mention provides for the sending of the entire spreadsheet... the needs that I have is to simply select from a dropdown list and launch the email (Outlook) to send an email to the person selected...

I have made a dropdown list with the email address of the people ... yet I want to somehow use just the names of the people without the actual email address being visable...

after speaking with Leith earlier, It appreared as though it may be possible....This may not be possible.... ????
