Making the user be able to format a text box

I searched everywhere and couldn't find whether or not this could be done.

I have a couple of large multiline text boxes on a form in the program that I am writing and I want to work out if there is a way to make it so that the user can put some of what they write into a text box in bold and some of what they write in the text box not in bold.

Any help much appreciated.

Neither the Forms nor Control Toolbox text boxes support Rich Text Format (RTF), which is what you need to do this. If you bold the text, it is all bold. One workaround would be to use a HTML Textbox. I don't know enough about using these in Excel to tell you how to set one up, perhaps someone else can fill that piece in.
