    Could not access my macro

    Dear all,
I could not open the macros that I just made in an Excel file. Is there a way to restore the macros? I still could open the Excel file (with disable macro function) but everytime I tried to enable the macros, it just got stuck and not responding. Any ideas about what is happening? I really hate to start all over again

    Thanks in advance!

Are your macros in the "Workbook_Open" event? If so it sounds like you are causing some sort of infinite loop or some other event that the macro doesn't end. You can open the workbook (without disabling macros) while holding down the shift key so that the workbook_open event won't occur and your macros will be available for debugging.

    Good luck!

To insert code into the VBE (Visual Basic Editor)
    1. Copy the code.
    2. Open workbook to paste code into.
    3. Right click any worksheet tab, select View Code
    4. VBE (Visual Basic Editor) opens to that sheets object
    5. You may change to another sheets object or the This Workbook object by double clicking it in the Project window
    6. In the blank space below the word "General" paste the copied code.
