    tall calculation

    Basically I need to make cell B1 through IV1 equal the Totals of $A2*B2 through $A400*B400, $A2*C2 through $A400*C400.......

    this should work, let me know if it doesn't only tested it on about 15 square not 400 but worked fine

    Yes, that works, Thank you very much.

    Im also trying to implement Jonn's VBA solution. I havent got it to work yet, but I will let you know if I do.

    It actually did work. Its just that Im implementing it into different cells than my sample. This helps me to actually learn the code. Its my own ineptitude that Im struggling with.

    Although I do have a question- Is x = row number actually i = row number? I just didnt see an x in the code.

    Update- I got it to work with the new cells. I was mixing up the Column and Row, but it all works great now, thank you!!!

    Yeah sorry, i wrote it with i then thought i should change it to x to represent the x axis i.e. the row number rather than i to make more sense so must have forgotten to change all the i's.

    glad you got it working, if you need anymore help post it up here. i enjoy problems like these.
