I don't know whether this is possible but I would like to create a message box to overrise the RunTime Error message "1004"?
I don't want users to be able to de-bug.
Can anyone help?
Thanx
Alex

Good morning alexandra60
Try using the line
fairly early on in your code. This will mean that if your code hits an error, then that line will be ignored and the next line will be executed. You really should try and build in some kind of error reporting system though, so users know if there has been a problem and if the routine hasn't executed properly. Please Login or Register to view this content.
Alternatively, password protect the VBE. If you do that, then the code will still stop, but the option to debug will be ghosted out.

Please familiarise yourself with the rules before posting. You can find them here.
I would like to do some sort of error reporting... but I don'r know where to start, is it really complicated??

Hi alexandra60
If you want further help, can you post (at least) a portion of your code and point out at which place it falls down. Then perhaps someone can advise you how to trap it without using OnError.
