    Toolbars/Menu Display - 1 Workbook only

    Hi All,

I need to change the toolbar and menu diplay in one particular Excel workbook - basicallly hide all and just display a custome toolbar - without effecting the Toolbar/Manu display in all other Excel Workbooks.

    How can I do this?

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply but it looks a bit more complicated than what I need.

I know how to use the customise option to hide, create and edit toolbars/menus but the changes I make seem to effect all my Excel workbooks when I only want to change the toolbar/menu display of one particular sheet.

I'm sure it's simply done but don't know how, any ideas?

    Good afternoon ruic1977

If you want to do this you will have to do it programatically. This way, you would put a routine that will run when you open your specific workbook and will generate / hide your menu structure, and then before the file closes run another routine that would reset all your menus back to normal.

It may seem like a lot of trouble (and beleive me, it is) but it's the only way.

You will also have to consider that the user may open another workbook whilst working - need you will need code to handle this event to make sure the menus of the other workbook look normal...

Thanks for the post, it looks like it's going to be more hassle than it's worth to be honest as I'm not a programmer. Cheers anyway.
