    Complex Copying of Data

    Excel Wizards,

I'm ok w/ excel but I have no clue where to start w/ this one.

I have data from col A thru G but only want to extract data from Col A, B, C, and G; however, the data in B will determine which data I will use in A but then the data in C will be the value located in the row above where A and B data are found and the data in G will be in the row below where A and B are found.

I have provided an example of what I'm trying to do. I'm sure there is some type of programming involved but not sure where to begin. Any help would be great.

    Thanks.

Is that exactly how your data is set out?
    Hope that helps.

    I'm an idiot

    Wow,

Someone else in here figured it out. No need for all that...just use the Go To under edit, select the blanks, then go delete the blanks and select move up. It removes all blanks and the data is aligned the way they want it. GRRRR...I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill. Oh well...I'm learning.

    Thanks anyways,

    Jason
