Updation of UDF (User Defined Function)

    Hello Everyone,

I am facing following problem in updating UDF given below.
    In below mentioned UDF
    STRate - Service Tax Rate
    SerType - Type of Service
BillDate - Date when Bill (Invoice) is raised.

Service Tax Rate is based on 'Type of Service' and 'Bill Date'.
These Dates / Type of Service keep on updating. What I mean is in given UDF after 30th April, 2007 Rate is 12.36% . But it may increase or decrease after 1st April, 2008. If it happens then I will have to change UDF accordingly. I want to know it is possible to keep flexibility while writing UDF itself for such updation.

    Please guide me.

You would need to maintain the rates in a cell & refer the UDF to the cell.

Also, I think using a Select case statemet would be better than your ElseIfs.
    Hope that helps.
