VBA code for copy/paste logic needed

Im not a programmer so I know virtually nothing about VBA. The output of this software im using mixes account numbers with other data in the same column. I need the account number to be on every single line. To attain this, the logic I need VBA to perform is as follows. :

Im skipping the first row b/c I cant explain the logic for cell c1 as an example...

    If c2 = "" then c2 = d2
    Else c2 = c1.

So if any cell in c is blank, it equals the value right next to it in d. Else, it uses the previous value in c above it.

Any VBA code or any other workaround would be appreciated.
