macro to create a new tool bar, add a custom menu item, name property & assign macro

I have no problem recording a macro to create a new toolbar (toolbar name "MyMacros"). But I cannot record the following: In addition to the toolbar I would like the macro to create a "custom menu item", change the button image to a square, edit the button image to change color (outter boarder "black" and interior "yellow" ), and assign a macro named "materials".

I would appreciate any help or references

Thankyou, the macro is fabulous! I haven't saved it as an add-in but will work on that tomorrow.
