Generate MD5 Checksum

Is there a way to generate MD5 checksum for a row in Excel 2002?

We are posting csv files on our website and each record in the file has a checksum based on the values in a record. Now we want the external users to be able to generate the checksum on their own in the downloaded excel file so they can verify data validity. Is there a way to do this in Excel??

Here is web site with the code that was originally written by Stephen Bullen. It uses API calls, but he provides VBA wrapper functions to make it more friendly.
