macro to insert blank line at end of date series

Hi,

I'm looking for a macro that would insert a blank line at the end of each day in list, sum columnB for that day, and insert the sum in the new line under columnC. First, here's a snippet from the data in the spreadsheet:

ColumnA ColumnB ColumnC
Date Rain
01/02/2007 0.03
01/02/2007 0.04
01/02/2007 0.05
01/02/2007 0.04
01/02/2007 0.05
01/02/2007 0.07
01/03/2007 0.06
01/03/2007 0.07

What I would like to see is:
