    Removing password in a macro

    Hi

I have a main spreadsheet that collates alot of information together, i have smaller sheets that takes the information from this sheet, i have made a macro that will update the links, one of the links is the link to the main spreadsheet, when closed and i run the macro it asks me for the password of that sheet, my question is with the workbook of the main spreadsheet closed is there anyway to write something into the macro that will automatically enter the password or bypass this, i know with workbook protectionb we can use something like unprotect.("Password") mybe something like this to enter the workbook. the link for this is below, also the password is "BROMLEY"

    Hello DJ,

While Excel allows you to update data in a closed workbook, security protocols prevent passwords from being changed or used to open a closed workbook.
