Hello - this is a little difficult to explain but I will do my best.
If I have alot of invoiced dollar amounts and receive a payment to pay for some of them but I am not sure which ones, can Excel work out which combinations from these amounts equal my payment received, or the closest possible combinations (ie may be 1 or 2 cents out due to GST)?
For example:
$5.50
$25.75
$2.25
$30.00
$10.00
$5.00
Payment received: $37.75
Can excel highlight the amounts this matches, ie
$5.50
$25.75
$2.25
$30.00
$10.00
$5.00
Obviously I am talking about alot more than six entries.
