Smile Range selection based on adjacent cell range

I have been searching formu for a couple of hours now trying to find an answer how to select a range basted on the adjacent column.

    Let's say I have these

    Coupon Maturity Price YTM
    5.000 12/1/2007 102.04 3.53
    5.000 12/1/2007 101.05 3.36
    5.000 12/1/2007 101.05 3.36
    5.000 12/1/2007 101.05 3.36
    3.375 12/1/2007 100.00 3.35

I insert a column and would like to enter a formula from let's say c2 to the end of that data. But since the data is empty, it will select to the last row in the worksheet.

How can I select a range and paste the data acording to the lenght of the adjacent column let's say B?

I would assume that this would involve selecting column B to last row, is that correct?

As always your expertise is greately apprected.

Try double clicking on the fill handle, the bottom right corner of the cell,

Thank you very much for such a swift response.

I have a variable range of rows and I would like to be able to select all of the rows let's say from left side column A of the empty one B. Select that range and fill the empty B one with formula in that range.

I hope I have made my self a little bit clearer.

    1. The FILL HANDLE is the cross at the bottom right of the selected cell.
    2. As Dave has suggested: if you have 10, 100 or 10 thousand rows in any column (it doesn't matter), you could write a formula in the first row of the column immediately to the right ofyour data column, press enter to accept the formula. Click the cell once more to re-select it and finally, double click the FILL HANDLE. Excel will automatically enter the formula in all cells stopping at the last used row of the data column.

    * Please edit your last post to remove the objectionable language, it's not used on this forum. Thanks...

The only problem is that I am not looking for a handle as you have suggested.

May be i haven't made myself clear. I sad let's assume that I have these columns. Next time I will be more precise and post 65,000 columns to describe my example, is that OK?
