Naming a Column

Hello Experts,
How do you modify this opening line so that even if I insert or delete columns, it'll still be mapped to the original column (currently Column 8)? I know that I would have to name the Column...so suppose I named it "OriginalColumn", how do I incorporate that when modifying the "Columns(8)" part?
