    Restore Excel Menus

Hi, I used the following code to customise the menus:

I need a macro that will restore Excel's original menus, once the custom menus are activated.

    Thanks a lot

You may have to register to get to the Downloads section, I always stay logged in, so am not sure.

Go to http://www.xl-logic.com/index.php and then go to the Downloads area.

When there do a search for Toolbars.

Just in case you don't want to register on that site, here is a zip file from there with a routine for saving toolbar information before changing and then restoring when you are done.

I hope this is what you are after.

    Thanks!

    Different case

    Hi,

your answer is not really the case I'm in, since I meant the menus and not the toolbars needed to be restored. Maybe the same technique you described can be used to restore menus as well, but since I'm not quite the expert on programming I wouldn't know how to do it.

Thanks a lot for trying to help.

I know I sent you on one site search that didn't resolve your problem.

But this web site has tons of VBA code and tricks - Even tutorials. The basic tutorials are free as are the VBA code snippets. It just takes some perseverence to navigate around the site.

    Thanks

I am a little ashamed to tell you that I have been banned from ozgrid.com for a couple of weeks, because I did not follow the posting rules.

I have decided not to pursue this for now anyways.

Thank you all for your help.
