filter certain cells within a Subsecion

    hi,

please see attached file- this is a sample of a bill of materails

if you double click on the word "unwound stator " that level of parts will appear you will see in column "b" some level number appear . and in column a the number 2 appears. this number 2 is just for the "unwound stator"
    bill of materails

what i need to do is when i open a level one bill of materail just filter the ones with a level no within it ( i have some in yellow )

in this case the filter would start in line 21 and finish at 371

    thanks

    steve

Rename the existing code (say delete the last letter of the sub name), and then enter the new code. You can only have one sub at a time with the same name.

    rylo,

not sure if i have explained it corectly or not

any of the 3 blue cells can be populated by double clicking any one of them- when clicked it will show the bom underneath it. and when clicked again it closes pleae click line 3 .
when this is done the are some codes in column c sroo1 sr 002 etc these are line 22
the idea is to click on the number ( sr002) and it will go to sheet srcodes and goto that code on that sheet

You seem to have changed your requirements from your original post to the post above.

Can you give step by step instructions on what you would like to happen. Start with double click on E374. What do you what to happen, and what do you expect to see. Then where do you go. What do you do, where do you go and what do you see.

ok- when you select e374 the bom opens up
if you look at line 392 coulumn c you will see a code sr001
when you select that code . i want to display that code on the sheet called srcodes.

this should be for any code. that i select .
then i should be able to close the bom by clicking e374 again

    this is for any bom

    thanks

    Hi

Try this. There is nothing to stop any errors that may occur if the value is not on the sr codes sheet.
