Timestamp when worksheet opened

Hello -

I'm trying to figure out some code for a timestamp.

When I open a spreadsheet, I want the timestamp code to look at sheet ABC, cell A23. If there is any value in that cell, I want the code to exit. If there is no value, I want today's date, formatted as "yyyymmdd_hhmm" (I'm not sure if I have the hour and minute formatting right).

Would someone be able to assist me with this?
