macro to automatically run when spreadsheet is opened

    Hi,

I need to permanently freeze panes in a worksheet which contains a background sheet image.

The problem is, when I open the worksheet the background image moves to the left and the only way to refresh the image is to unfreeze and then refreeze panes.

If I open the worksheet when the panes are not frozen, the image remains in the correct position.

Therefore, to get around this problem, is it possible to write a macro that will automatically freeze panes in a specific position when the spreadsheet is opened?

The worksheet name is 'MAP' and the cell in which I need to freeze panes is CE7.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
Try your macro recorder, then place the code in the workbook module the code will look something like this

Obviously you will need to get your own file to use as the background
