    hiding columns via Macros

    Hi Everyone

I'm having some issues hiding columns....

I have 12 months with expenses for each month showing...each month has 5 columns
so columns A through BH will not be touched....

in Column BJ i will put the "Paid to" which is the person getting the payment and i what i want it to do is when the user clicks the button, like a commandbutton, i want it to organize data hiding every column except BJ and also every 4th column....so when the user clicks the commandbutton, the user sees BJ, and D, I, N, S, X, AC, AI, AN, AS, AW, BB, BG...
and then in BK51, all the data from the 12 columns (D, I, N, S, X, AC, AI, AN, AS, AW, BB, BG) will add up appear as the sum of all those in BK51...The total for each month is in 51st cell of the 12 columns so D51, I51, N51 and so on....until BG51
Also, those 12 columns should only come if there is data(value) in their respective first cell....

Thanks So Much for helping Out....

I have no idea what code to use to hide the columns....
