Average value of A1 on every sheet in the workbook?

    Greetings.

I have a dashboard sheet that contains summaries of data from every other worksheet in the book. I need to average the values of A1 on every sheet. How would I go about doing this?

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the help.

I thought if I started simple I could figure it out, but I can't.

I'm going to upload the .xls because it's too confusing for me to explain. It tracks my golf scores, each round on a different sheet, and generates statistics on a single (front) page.

I need a function that I can pass the common cell, and the number of rounds, and it will return the average value of that cell over the X most recent rounds.

All rounds will have the date in A1. No other sheets will have anything in A1.

How do I go about determining which sheets should be included in the average?

Thanks in advance for the help, I know this is a big request.

    Hello svaiskau,

I don't have Excel 2007. Can you save the file in Excel 2003 format?

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Hello svaiskau,

I won't be back in my offcie until Monday. The computer I am using for now is a Mac. After I opened the workbook I didn't see the dashboard. Since the VBA for Mac's is a limited version of the PC VBA, it could be due to those differences as why it isn't there. Also, there didn't seem to be any macro code written yet. Can you update me on the workbook's status?

    Thanks,
    Leith Ross
