Macros stopped working on one server only

Large spreadsheet with about 15 macros. Rows were added so macros had to be edited. I had done almost all successfully when I started getting debug errors. Then all macros in that worksheet and any new worksheet had debug errors. Trying different computers on the same server but with different versions of Excel did not help. I emailed the file to my home and macros work perfectly.

probably security settings on server, one of mine was upgraded now anyone with win2000 has macro/save problems. the cure? upgrade to xp doh!

While it still may be security settings on server, when the user rebooted her computer (which she didn't want to do until the end of the day), the macros were working in her file. I will see Monday if they work in the workbook that I am working on.

to be honest reboot should have been first option.
this happens quite often with updates across networks(virus guard updates/software updates and umpteen different things on servers.) users should be forced(YES FORCED) to reboot. Clears about 85-95% of problems
