    How to reference VBIDE objects

    Hi Folks,

How can I configure the VBA Editor to support the following types?

    Dim VBAEditor As VBIDE.VBE
    Dim VBProj As VBIDE.VBProject
    Dim VBComp As VBIDE.VBComponent
    Dim CodeMod As VBIDE.CodeModule

When I run a procedure using this variables I receive a message: "Type not defined".

    Thanks,
    Marcelo Rychter

    Hi Marcelo

In the VBE go Tools>References and set a reference to the:

Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Extensibility 5.3

    library.

    Richard

PS Not sure whether then digits on the end might be different for you - it is 5.3 in my xl2003.
