Reduce File Size

I have a workbook that is over 55meg. It has an above average number of worksheets and modules.

The file has very little formatting or formulas. Functionality is handled by VBA script in modules. There is a total of about 100 modules. So it is going to be difficult to copy them to another file and paste them back.

I have gone to each worksheet to delete unused rows and columns and deleted formatting where it is not used.

I tried running an "excel diet" function i found on the web, but it would not run.

The size of this file is making it difficult for my users to load, run and save.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I used a separate module for each sub so that i can document the location and purpose for each sub. Is there a better way?

And there are are about 40 worksheets in the file.

I can't see how that makes it easier. I usually categorise procedures & place eacg category into a separate module.
